- Improves communication between an Ajax hub and connected devices or cellular networks when the hub is in locations with weak signal (e.g.bbasements; reinforced concrete rooms)
- Compatible with hubs that support external antennas such as Ajax Hub BP Jeweller
- Connects to dedicated antenna ports for Jeweller; Wings; and Cellular channels via SMA connectors
- One antenna alone may not provide full coverage; connecting to multiple ports improves reliability
- Does not appear in or get controlled through the Ajax app — it’s a passive hardware accessory
- Simple installation using SMA connectors and can be mounted using included adhesive tape or standard mounting methods
- System detects and notifies if the external antenna cable is cut or disconnected (anti-sabotage reporting)
- Typically supplied with a coaxial cable and SMA male connector ready for hub connection
